details details…
so, first of all I bet you’re all wondering (if anyone is actually reading this) (i hope someone is reading this!) why the name “quirky fate press.” well really it’s all about how we, the co-authors of this blog, went from being mere work colleagues to friends (awwww).
for almost a year we had shared coffee breaks and indulged in water cooler conversation (there’s no actual water cooler at our job, but you get the idea) until one day "Georgia" decided to share the first book of a series she was reading with me, "Jas." The infamous book largely responsbile for our friendship is Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging, the first in a series by the talented Louise Rennison.
i’d never read anything like it! i felt like i was reading my very own high school diary. "georgia" and i realized we had a lot more in common than just ID badges and so our relationship blossomed ::tear::
and press? well since we are planning on this blog being mainly comprised of book reviews we felt it fit, plus, most importantly, we thought it sounded cool.
